Section Settings

Review the Setting section, update the Combine app, and transfer data from the app from one device to another.

The Settings section is essential for your comfortable use of the Combine application. In this section, you can customize the application to your preferences, set a UI password for important actions within the application for additional security, change your account password, switch the application theme (light/dark), upload proxies, add API keys from exchanges, view login logs, and more.

Please note that the vast majority of settings (except for the account password) are stored strictly locally on your device. This ensures complete security when using the application, but in case of a device failure, all settings and data will be lost. Therefore, we recommend making a copy of the application folder on an external hard drive or USB stick after fully setting up the application and loading all necessary data into it. This way, in the event of an unexpected device failure, we can easily restore all data.

Updating the application to the current version:

Updating the application occurs without the need to manually download the latest version from the website. After a new version of the application is released, the latest version will automatically download to your device (when Combine is running) and prompt you to update. You can do this immediately or click Later and update later, but we recommend updating the application whenever a new version is released and the application prompts for an update.

After updating, the application restarts, and your running sessions are set to Terminated status. To resume the sessions, go to the Logs & Progress section and simply click Resume All. Your wallets will then establish new delays between themselves and resume from where they were stopped.

If the update does not download automatically, you can always download the latest version from the official Combine website and install the downloaded version over the old one, replacing all files, after completely closing the Combine application. Emphasizing, you should not delete the application as this will result in the loss of all data from your old version. Simply install the new version over the old one, replacing all files.

If automatic downloading does not occur, it is usually due to high ping between your local internet connection and the server hosting the latest version of Combine.

Periodically check your application version, which is displayed in the lower left corner in the format "v2.13.48 | 17.05.24". If a new version is released and you still have the old one, you will see a warning about the new version in the same lower left corner. If you see this warning and your application version is outdated, download the latest version from the website and install it.

Transfer data from the Combine application from one device to another:

Once again, we remind you that we do not upload or store any of your private data on our servers. All private data from wallets, exchange API keys, proxies, etc., is stored strictly locally on the devices from which they were uploaded to the application.

Therefore, when you log into your account on another device, you will only see the modules you purchased. When you enter a module, you will see that it is empty because all the wallet data remains on the first device from which they were uploaded.

If you purchased a module for 50 wallets and added all 50 wallets on the first device, on the second/third device, you will only be able to add the same wallets that were already uploaded to the application on the first device. You can do this manually by adding the data to the application on the second device again, or you can export all the data into tables on the first device and then upload these tables to the application on the second device.

But there is also another option - transferring the data folder from the Combine application from the first device to the second directly. Here's how to do it:

🔳 MacOs to MacOs:

  • Open Finder;

  • In the top menu, open the "GO" tab and hold down the "Option" key on your keyboard. The "Library" option will appear in the "GO" menu;

  • Go to "Library";

  • Navigate to Application Support -> Combine;

  • Copy the entire "Combine" folder and move it to the same path on the new device, replacing all files.

🔳 From MacOs to Windows:

  • Open Finder;

  • In the top menu, open the "GO" tab and hold down the "Option" key on your keyboard. The "Library" option will appear in the "GO" menu;

  • Go to "Library";

  • Navigate to Application Support -> Combine;

  • Copy the entire "Combine" folder;

  • Move the copied folder to the path: C:\Users"USERNAME"\AppData\Roaming\Combine on the new device, replacing all files.

🔳 From Windows to MacOs:

  • On Windows, copy the Combine folder from Windows at the path: C:\Users"USERNAME"\AppData\Roaming\Combine;

  • On MacOS, open Finder;

  • In the top menu, open the "GO" / "Переход" tab and hold down the "Option" key on your keyboard. The "Library"option will appear in the "GO" / "Переход" menu;

  • Go to Library;

  • Move the folder taken from Windows, replacing the files in the Combine folder on MacOS.

🔳 From Windows to Windows:

  • On the first device, copy the Combine folder from the path: C:\Users"USERNAME"\AppData\Roaming\Combine;

  • On the second device, move this folder to the same path, replacing all files.

Combine operation when the PC is in sleep mode:

This point also applies to closing laptop lids. When you put your PC to sleep or close the laptop lid, your operating system shuts down most processes that ensure the correct operation of applications. Because of this, some functions of various applications stop working, and Combine is no exception.

When putting your PC to sleep or closing the laptop lid, Combine may stop making transactions and essentially "freeze." The "unfreezing" occurs when you open the laptop lid or wake the PC from sleep mode, and Combine starts executing all the transactions it was supposed to perform during the sleep mode all at once. As a result, after opening the laptop lid, you will see the following situation:

All wallets that were supposed to be launched during the "sleep" will start working immediately after waking up from sleep mode without the delays you set in the session settings. Therefore, if you want Combine to work correctly, do not force your PC into sleep mode and do not close the laptop lid.
